Chica has the appearance of a large yellow duck, but is confirmed to actually be a chicken. She wears a bib that says "LET'S EAT!!!" and carries a cupcake onstage that looks very similar to the cupcake seen in the player's office.
In the second game, Chica's appearance is overall unchanged, but is disturbingly different. All of her feminine features are toned down, giving her a more androgynous look. Her jaw appears to be unhinged from the rest of her head, revealing her endoskeleton's teeth. Her beak appears more bulbous, and more closely resembles a chicken's than a duck's bill. Her eye sockets also appear much wider, with the actual eyes appearing to be much further back in the skull. Both of her arms are missing from the elbows onwards, and are left outstretched in a "T" pose.
In the first game, Chica starts out on the Show Stage, along with Bonnie and Freddy. She is usually the second one to move, after Bonnie, and will always approach from the East Hall (the right side of the building). She will occasionally stop by the Kitchen, and can be heard knocking around pots and pans.
In the second game, Chica starts off in the Parts/Services room, along with the other "old" characters. After leaving, she will try to get into the Office through the right air vent.
In Five Nights at Freddy's 2, all of the original animatronics are "replaced" by newer models.
Toy Chica appears greatly different than her counterpart in the original game. Toy Chica's features are entirely feminine. She has a very thin body, and a pink garment covering the lower portion. Her bib now reads "LET'S PARTY!" and she now carries a cupcake with her at all times, even when attacking the player. She is also very antagonized with Markiplier, because she jumpscared him first, when he was keeping an eye on Toy Bonnie.
Like all of the "Toy" animatronics, Toy Chica has rosy cheeks, as if they are blushed.
Toy Chica starts off on the Show stage, along with the Toy models of Bonnie and Freddy. After leaving, she will try to enter the Office through the left air vent.
