Klaus or IKEA Bird was a parrot first introduced in Part 17 of MINECRAFT EPIC. Klaus was notable for warning Pewds of nearby Creepers, imitating their hissing noise. In Part 19, Pewds revealed that he accidentally killed Klaus fighting zombies, and he was promptly replaced by a new Ikea Bird of identical colors.
Biography[]
Klaus is first found (alongside a Jungle Temple) by PewDiePie and Sven on their adventure to the jungle, which is promptly interrupted by a creeper explosion. Naming the bird Klaus, he acquires melon seeds and tames the parrot, which then proceeds to sit on his shoulder.
Shortly after raiding the Jungle Temple (although leaving the other chest with the lever puzzle), he finds Joergen #2 and attempts to go home with Sven and Klaus, pointing out the Sven-like sounds Klaus was making. After the dangerous night, Pewds comments on Klaus warning him about creepers and goes home putting Joergen in the new stable.
Death[]
In Part 19, PewDiePie confirmed that Klaus died to friendly fire as he had accidentally killed him while fighting zombies when he was not recording. He was promptly replaced with a similar looking parrot and given a name tag in said episode.
